Aloha, all!
It is SOOO good to be back up and running at full speed, and especially fun for me as today is my Create with Connie and Mary Spring Edition Preview Week project! My project today is a card, so not much in the way of a tutorial with it. But I do have a full sketch showing how I used the card stock and two pieces of Designer Series Paper from the new bright and cheerful Flower Fair Simply Scrappin' Kit! And I have blog candy!!
ALL the papers and card stock and stickers, and ALL the ribbons and buttons come with the kit. Even the tag up on the right is part of the kit, on which I stamped my currently favorite word, "Happiness" from the Loving Thoughts Stamp Set.
The colors in this kit are Garden Green, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango and Regal Rose. What a color combo to show off Spring, and what gorgeous flowers to carry it off!
Besides products that come with the Simply Scrappin' Kit, I added some Die Cut Flowers and Leaves, using the Secret Garden Framelits, and I just had to add to the flower grouping on the left one of the brand new Designer Builder Brads.
The flowers that I made using the framelits are the Tangerine Tango and Daffodil Delight shapes that I applied with Stampin' Dimensionals to a background made from the Stickers in the kit. I also cut the two sprays of leaflets from the kits's Garden Green Card Stock and one of the framelits. These all seem to go perfectly together!
The Daffodil Delight buttons as well as the Garden Green and Regal Rose 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon are also part of the kit. It's nice to have more than just the papers in the kit! And it's great to have a fab catalog FULL of products that are going to make the Create With Connie and Mary 2013 Spring Edition just fabulous!
