Aloha, all!
Today I'm using a Stampin' Up! Stamp Set that's in the 2016-2017 Annual Catalog, but which you cannot buy by itself. It's the Watercolor Wishes Stamp Set, and it ships exclusively with the Watercolor Wishes Card Kit. This is an all-inclusive card kit – stamps and ink, along with the usual layers and embellishments. And, yes, I bought the kit just to have the stamp set. Of course, I've made most of the cards in the kit, but I'm still using that stamp set a LOT with my other cards!
This design is not my own. A fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Sandy Hancock, displayed this card online and I just fell in love with the layout. Of course, hers was different in many ways – she used pink, where I used Cucumber Crush; she didn't include a sentiment and I did; and she used lots of pearls and enamel shapes, but I just used some coordinating Thick Baker's Twine.
What I did do that she did was to use the new Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder as my background layer, with a "flourish" die-cut using the Flourish Thinlits. It's such a lovely layout!
If you ever see one of the cards that I've displayed on my own blog, and you have a question about it, please don't hesitate to add a comment here or even to e-mail me with your question. It happens quite a bit, believe it or not, and I love writing responses. It also helps me figure out what I should say about a card as I'm going through the process of writing the post that goes with it!
Now here are the products I used to create today's project. As always, click on the picture of the product to learn more about it and/or buy it from my personal Stampin' Up! website.
