As I've been madly getting ready for a month-long trip to visit family all over the U.S. Mainland, I've also been trying to make sure that I'm caught up on my birday cards. There are SO MANY birthdays that I want to remember this month, and every person gets a card. I'm following in the footsteps of Shannon West from Stampin' Up!, who started the #imbringingbirthdaysback movement in the beginning of the year.
This past weekend, when I thought I had all my birthday cards lines up, I posted several of them here. But as I was skimming through my June calendar, durned if another birthday didn't pop up! No, I didn't make a pop-up card – don't have time for that! But I did gather up the last of the Paper Pumpkin scraps from that blog post.
One main thing that's different is that, instead of accenting the paper from the kit with its Bermuda Color, this time I used the Cucumber Crush color as the accent. I do love Bermuda Bay; but I am so over it for a while!
Everything in this card, except for the Cucumber Crush Cardstock is from the Paper Pumpkin March 2016 kit. I made the bow with the Baker's Twine that was in the kit. But I twisted the twine into a bit of yarn before I tied it in a bow. After that, everything's pretty simple – and it went together fast!
Now to finish writing a tutorial for my June 3rd Newsletter, and everything in my craft room gets put away (it says somewhere!)
