Description
I love sending cards that have layers of beautiful papers and colorfully-stamped images. But I especially love sending cards with lots of texture that just begs to be touched as well as seen. A surprisingly simple way to create texture is by folding patterned papers into a beautiful design. One of my favorite ways to fold Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Papers is to create a Drapery Fold.
This tutorial booklet has instructions for making four different styles of drapery folds to use on the front of greeting cards. As you might imagine, the key to each design is knowing where to score your papers and how to fold the paper on those score line. For each of the four designs I’ve included the exact measurements and instructions for both. Not only that, I’ve provided two samples for each of the designs to give you some ideas about how to start making your own unique drapery fold cards.
Enjoy the tutorials!
