Aloha, all!
In the middle of everything that’s been going on this month and last, I was very sorry to hear of the death of an old friend. Clarence’s widow, Denise, is really the person whom I think of as my friend. But wherever Denise was, there was Clarence. I belong to a group to which both Clarence and Denise have belonged for a long time. And Clarence was always there to help when we needed him. Both of them also belonged to a military retirees’ group to which Harry and I belong, and we will miss him there, too.
Actually, Clarence and Denise moved to California many years ago. But it always seemed as if they were still here as a part of our groups.
This is the card I made for and sent to Denise. The sentiment is from the Kindness and Compassion Stamp Set, and I used Rococo Rose and Mint Macaron as the colors for the card. The background paper is from the 2019-2021 In Color 6″ x 6″ Paper Set.
There really isn’t much else to say about this card except that we miss our friend.
