Sneak Peek At New Papers

April 21, 2021 by Robin

Aloha  all –

On Monday I mentioned that I might be sharing some projects that I’ve made using new products in the upcoming Stampin’ Up! 2021-2011 Annual Catalog. And here is the first – of what I’m sure will be many!

Look  What’s  New

Isn’t that Designer Series Paper gorgeous?! I can hardly wait to tell you all about it – and I do believe telling you about this will be one of my first blog posts after the new catalog is released on May 4th!

And  What’s  Staying  Around

The big news about this card is that everything else in it is already a part of the Stampin’ Up! Catalog and will remain in it for another year. Hooray for all of that!

Flirty  Flamingo

First of all is the collection of products that are made with the Flirty Flamingo Color. That color is part of the current basic 40 colors in the Stampin’ Up! pallet and there’s no reconstruction of the pallet this year. And boy does it show up in this card. Both the card base and the mat for the sentiment are made with Flirty Flamingo Cardstock. I stamped the sentiment and the flowers on the inside with Flirty Flamingo Classic Ink. And finally I tied the card all together with – no, not Flirty Flamingo ribbon. Stampin’ Up! does not have any of that at the moment. Nope, that’s the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon, that I colored with Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends.

The  Sentiments  from  the  Timeless  Tulips  Stamp  Set

While I love the Timeless Tulips Stamp Set, I really only use the Tulips in the Spring. But what I love the most about the set is the lovely sentiments that it contains. “Happy Birthday,” “Hello,” “Get Well Soon,” and more are all perfect for the entire year. I especially like them for lightly colorful floral designs such as I have in this card.

And  the  Lovely  Labels  Pick – a – Punch

And it’s not just the sentiments that are staying. I used the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch to punch the sentiment layer and its mat. I’m very thankful that it’s staying around as I use it a lot!

The  Bottom  Line  –  How  to  Get  a  Catalog

I’ve ordered (and received!) enough catalogs for my current customers and I’ll be sending those out later this week. If you’d be interested in having a catalog, let me know and I’ll get in touch with you to get the information I need before I send it out.

Have a great week stamping!
