More FREE Paper With Sale-a-bration!

January 16, 2023 by Robin

Hi, There, Stampers!

There are four different sets of Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper that you can order FOR FREE in this year’s Sale-a-bration Brochure. Three of the four are products that you can get FOR FREE with only a $50 purchase of Stampin’ Up! products.

In the past week I’ve mentioned that there is more than one place that you can order Stampin’ Up! products. Sure you can order from a catalog. Most of the products I mention in my blog articles are in catalogs. But there are the Paper Pumpkin subscriptions (see my article of last Wednesday) AND there is the Stampin’ Up! Clearance Rack. That’s only online. Oh, and then there are the Stampin’ Up! Kits. You also have to go online to see the kits that are currently available for purchase.

A Set of Papers You Can Get FOR FREE!

One of the sets of papers that you can earn with a $50 Stampin’ Up! purchase this month and next is called Day at the Farm. Now I’m not a farm girl except that I help out with my uncle’s Farmers Market a bit when I was a kid. And, sure, I loved driving out in the country and seeing cows and horses and the occasional pig (they don’t hang out by the road that much). But this paper still caught my eye. Once I got it, I wasn’t quite sure what to do with it. But now I’m really enjoying having it in my stash.

Farm Scenes Make Cheerful Cards!

The first print that caught my eye was this cheerful design with green trees and yellow flowers. Hey, it’s January and not many of us are seeing that a lot these days. But we know that it’s only a month or two before we start seeing them again. How to turn that thought into a card was a bit on the difficult side – until I started looking through the Sale-a-bration Brochure again. There’s a stamp set in there called, Thanks a Bunch. And that set has a sentiment, “It looks like spring!” Perfect!

A Quick Look at Today’s Card

First of all, both of the papers in the card are from the Day at the Farm. I really like the way that the Crushed Curry Stripes on either side of the main design complement the curry-colored flowers in the meadow.

For the accents in the card, I decided I wanted to pick up the Garden Green color that’s in some of the trees in the picture. The first part of that was to make mats using Garden Green Cardstock. Then I used the Garden Green Baker’s Twine from the Three Twine Combo Pack that’s in the current 2023 January – April Mini Catalog. I cut an 18″ long piece of the twine, wrapped it around the card and then tied it into a bow. Then I cut another 8″ piece and tied another bow around the first bow. That’s something I’ve started doing just because I like it. Let me know if you have an opinion one way or the other.

I also used Garden Green Cardstock and Garden Green Classic Ink in the sentiment element over at the right. I die cut the sentiment and the Garden Green mat using the Double Oval Punch and adhered it to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

What’s the Deal with Sale-a-bration?

During January and February of this year, any time you purchase at least $50 worth of Stampin’ Up! products (yes, even from the Clearance Rack and yes, even Paper Pumpkin Subscriptions!) you get to choose a FREE PRODUCT from the Sale-a-bration Brochure. There are seven products that you can earn FOR FREE for a $50 purchase (that means two for a $100 purchase) AND two products that you can earn FOR FREE for a $100 purchase (OK, for $100 you can get two of the lower ranking products or one of the higher ranking products. For, say, a $150 purchase besides getting FREE Stampin’ Rewards products (10% of your purchase total before taxes, etc.) you can earn three $50 products or one $100 product and one $50 product.)

If you have any questions, let me know!

Sale-a-bration Is “While Supplies Last”!

Oh, and don’t forget that (1) this Sale-a-bration promotion only lasts until the end of next month – February 28th;  and (2) the FREE products are only available “while supplies last.” That means that Stampin’ Up! has ordered all they’re going to order. If there’s something you’d really like, such as one of the paper sets I’ve been featuring, now’s the time to get it!

Happy Stamping and Sale-a-brating!
