Happy Valentine’s Day! Sneak Peek at New Products!

February 14, 2023 by Robin

Hi, There, Stampers!

I’m sure you don’t have time to read any long articles today. So I’ll just say a quick, “Happy Valentine’s Day,” and share a couple of cards I made with some products that will be on the market at the beginning of next month. I love new stuff, and Stampin’ Up! is going to be showing us new stuff more often from now on. I can hardly wait to see all that they’ll be sharing in March!

There Will be New Dies! And Embossing Folders!

I’m sure you recognize the stamp set as one I’ve been using a lot this Valentine Season (the Country Bouquet Bundle). What’s new are those die-cut elements on the left and right side of the card. There is so much you can do with those, and I’m looking forward to trying lots of those ways. A big help to getting these dies to adhere to a card front is to use Stampin’ Up’s adhesive sheets. I couldn’t have made this card without them.

Another new product in this card is that embossed design on the center white section. There are three new Embossing Folders in a pack called, “Basic Embossing Folders.” You’ll see another one of these in the next card.

There Will be New Designer Series Papers, Too!

Again, I’m sure you recognize the heart in the center of this card. You may even recognize the Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins I used in the upper right and lower left of the card. But I texturized the heart using one of the other Embossing Folders in the new Basic set.

The die-cut circle in the center of the card is another one of the dies in the same set as the vertical dies in the card up above. This one just cuts a design in the cardstock layer so doesn’t need those adhesive sheets. I did place some little dots of Multipurpose Glue on most of the circular elements around the inside of the circle, though.

The paper in the background is one of the sheets in the new designer series paper set. I’m not giving you any links to these products because they’re not available except to demonstrators at this point. Come March, however, you’ll be able to get them, too!

Have a Great Valentine’s Day!
