Hi, There, Stampers!
I am so excited to be celebrating my birthday today! Even more exciting is that I’ve been the happy recipient of some handmade birthday cards from some of my sister Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. As you read this, I’m already on my way to enjoy a short birthday vacation with my husband. We’ve got tickets for a concert tonight. And the next few days we’re going to be exploring the Tampa Bay area. That’s an area of Florida where we’ve never spent much time, and we’re going to play tourist to our hearts’ content.
Thank Heavens For Early Birthday Cards!
This is the first year in a long time when I’ve had not one, but three birthday cards arrive a full week before my birthday. That’s given me time to actually show them off to you. I have no doubt at all that I’ll have more by this time. But it will be at least another week before I’ll have a chance to take photos and publish them here.
A Bit About the Cards
This card is from one of my new Florida friends, MaryKate. I’m not sure how she knew how much I love purple. But she knocked it out of the park with some of Stampin’ Up!’s beautiful Fresh Freesia and Gorgeous Grape colors. And isn’t that owl, from one of this year’s Sale-a-bration sets, just a darling?
Long-time online friend, Terri, sent me this fun-fold card with designer series paper and stamps from the Fancy Flora suite in the current January – April Mini Catalog. Love the Calypso Coral and Soft Succulent combination! And her construction of the folds is just perfect!
And isn’t this cute bunny fun as part of a birthday card. She’s not just for Easter! And it’s a good thing, because Easter is more than two months away. That Easter Bunny stamp set should be retitled, “Celebrate Bunnies!” That paper is another product from the current Sale-a-bration promotion. The oval design is placed on one of the sheets in the set so all you have to do is cut a rectangle and you have a card front. Gorgeous! I’m so glad that my Stampin’ Up! Pen Pal, Tracy, though of both the paper and the bunny when she made my birthday card.
I hope you enjoyed seeing these cards, though probably not as much as I did!
Happy Stamping!
