Hi, There, Stampers!
Yes, I’m still showing off new prints from the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper set that’s in the Stampin’ Up! 2022 July – December Mini Catalog. This paper set is only available for purchase with Stampin’ Rewards. You earn Stampin’ Rewards when you place an order for yourself or a group of stampers that’s at least $150. As a demonstrator, I was able to purchase the paper set in our pre-order period without the Stampin’ Rewards restriction. If you’ve ever thought about being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, add that to the list of benefits!
Another Fun Fold
The card I made today is a Tri-Shutter Card. I have a tutorial written for it and I’ll be sharing it with those who subscribe to my newsletter in a few weeks. It’s basically a card that starts with a 12″ piece of cardstock. Each of the main sections of the card is 4″ wide, and it ends up, when folded, as a 4″ by 5-1/2″ card. Perfect fit for an A2-sized card (Stampin’ Up!’s Medium Envelopes.)
The Fun Christmas Prints
There are two prints from the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper set in this card. On the top and bottom strips of the card I used a print with a black background that has all kinds of colorful holiday shapes from candy to cookies to Christmas greenery.
On the large 4″ square sections you’ll see a mostly-Poppy Parade print with strings of twine tied into bows. These two prints go absolutely beautifully together.
The Decorations
As with the card in my previous article, I used the Trimming the Tree Bundle products to decorate the card. That bundle is only available during the month of September 2022 as part of Stampin’ Up!’s Perfect Partners promotion. The Trimming the Tree Stamp Set, from which the sentiment came, will be available until next April, when the current annual catalog expires. But the Tree Timmings Dies, which I used for all the trees on this card, will only be available this month during the Perfect Partners promotion.
The most fun that I had with these trees is popping out all the little sections that the dies cut out in the middle of each tree. I just used my Take a Pick and poked them out from the back. It gives the trees some beautiful texture.
The tree on the front of the card is stamped with two stamps from the stamp set. I stamped the main section of the tree using Shaded Spruce Ink and the accent section using Granny Apple Green Ink. Then I die-cut it using both the outline tree and the large sectioned tree. I added Red Rhinestone Jewels for color.
Don’t Forget My Newsletter!
I publish most of my free tutorials in my Newsletter. During the fall and winter, into the holiday season, there will be even more than ever, including some fun folds as well as some favorite card layouts. So don’t delay signing up! Just fill out the short form up at the top of the column over on the right, and you’ll start getting them next week!
Happy Stamping
