Aloha, all!
Yesterday I showed you a card that I made by cutting a frame out of a stamped piece of cardstock. Today I’m sharing the card that I made with the piece that I cut out of that frame.
For this card, rather than making the rectangle the center image in this card, I turned the card, made with the Thick Whisper White Cardstock, into the landscape direction. Then I added a layer of Granny Apple Green Cardstock that I texturized using the Layered Leaves Dynamic Embossing Folder, and mounted the stamped rectangle over on the left.
For the sentiment and decorations on this card, I added a hand cut banner with the same “Thank You” sentiment on it, and adhered a hibiscus and leaves stamped with the Tropical Chic Stamp Set and die-cut with the Tropical Thinlits.
Two cards out of one small piece of cardstock! Love it.
Later in the week, I’ll show off the cards I’ve been making for our fund-raising craft show this weekend!
Happy Stamping!
