My last post included two cards that I’d made using paper from this past winter’s Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-Bration brochure. Today’s post is a quick look at the third card I made when I had that paper out, and also includes another sneak peek into the upcoming Holiday Catalog and the Peaceful Boughs Bundle that you’ll find in that catalog – September 4th!
For this card, I just cut three strips out of the Christmas-themed sheet from the Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper. I used the same Lovely Lipstick Ribbon and the cut words from the Word Wishes Die set using Lovely Lipstick Cardstock.
What’s new in this card is that delightful frame, which is part of the Beautiful Boughs Die set that will be in the Holiday Catalog (September 4th!) to go with the Peaceful Boughs Stamp Set (in a bundle if you’d like it, of course).
I just love red and green as Christmas colors! For the green in these projects, I’ve been using one of the Stampin’ Up! 2018-2020 In Colors, Call Me Clover. This is one of my favorite greens, and I’m already starting to worry about missing it when it retired next June. But, as those of use who’ve been around Stampin’ Up! for a while have noticed, some of those so-called “retired” colors eventually make it back into the collection of 48 basic colors. Of course, that always means that some other color bites the colorful Stampin’ Up! dust. Oh, well. Enough of that – there are still MONTHS to go before I have to be concerned about that, huh?
