Today is the first day of the new Stampin’ Up! Catalog – the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. Usually this is the one day of the year that I place a big enough order for myself to earn a 50% off product, as well as oodles of points for Stampin’ Rewards to get a LOT of free products. But, with my house lying under a blanket of lava and only a small table on which to do any crafting work, I simply have no place to put any new products.
But a long-time friend and Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, Connie Babbert sent me this wonderful card made with products that are new in this year’s catalog, and I’m so excited to share with you one of my favorite stamp sets from the new catalog, Abstract Impressions.
I love the 2-step stamping in this card, and I can just imagine Connie using the new Stampin’ Up! Stamparatus to align those images just perfectly. Of course they don’t have to be perfect, but Connie’s images are definitely top-of-the-line.
Besides the new stamp set, there’s a new set of Designer Series Papers represented in this card. It’s called Garden Impressions, and comes in 6″ x 6″ sheets. I actually have a set of this paper that I ordered as a demonstrator pre-order before Madame Pele overran our house with her lava. The order was delivered to the house we are temporarily occupying, and it sits in an unopened box until I can figure out how to use my Stampin’ Up! products in the small space that I have. I’ll eventually have a better crafting space. But for now, I’m thrilled to have the samples that my Stampin’ Up! friends are sending me as friendship cards.
I’m starting to get cards from all over the United States, and I’m sure you’d like to know where these demonstrators are from. Connie hails from Ohio, which happens to be my very own home state!
