You Can Get This Die Set FOR FREE! But Hurry Up!!!

August 28, 2022 by Robin

Hi, There, Stampers!

If you’re reading this during the last week in August 2022, then you must know that Sale-a-bration Is Almost Over! This year’s second 2-month Sale-a-bration promotion by Stampin’ Up! ends on August 31st. And the die set from which this oval aspen tree shape comes is available FOR FREE during Sale-a-bration, after you’ve bought $100 of Stampin’ Up! products. This set is called the Aspen Tree Dies and usually sells for $36!

Sale-a-bration Product Recap

By now, several Sale-a-bration products have been sold out. Those the Pool Party and Soft Sea Foam Cards and Envelopes and the Tree Lot Dies. Also no longer available is the set of Brushed Metallic Cardstock which was on the “More to Sale-a-brate” list published at the beginning of the month. The Brushed Metallic Cardstock that is in the Stampin’ Up! 2022-23 Annual Catalog, which has another product number, is still available if you need that product outside of Sale-a-bration promotions.

Here is a link to the online Sale-a-bration Brochure and a link to the More to Sale-a-brate flyer. It’s in this flyer that you can find information about the Aspen Tree Dies

Now About Today’s Card

To make this card, I centered the large die from the Aspen Tree Die Set on a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock. Then I cut 5″ x 1-1/4″ strips from three of the sheets in the Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper set (Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow and Crushed Curry prints). I taped the strips onto a piece of plain copy paper to anchor them, then adhered them behind the die-cut layer. I then adhered this group to a card base made with Mossy Meadow Cardstock.

To decorate the card, I stamped, colored and die-cut the three sunflowers. The stamp set that I used is Celebrate Sunflowers, and the coordinating die set is Sunflowers Dies. I colored the sunflowers using Light Daffodil Delight, Mossy Meadow and Soft Suede Stampin Blends. The Daffodil Delight color is much darker than it would be if I’d used Basic White Cardstock. But I love Very Vanilla cardstock with my fall colors (so you’ll be seeing more of in the next month or two).

The sentiment is from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and I stamped it using Mossy Meadow Classic Ink. I hand cut the notched in the end of the banner image.

Don’t Wait If You’ve Been Eyeing Sale-a-bration Products!

As those of you who’ve been around a while, those products rarely ever appear in a future catalog. So now’s the time to get them if you’d like them.

If you have any questions, give me a call or send an e-mail!

Happy Stamping!
