Aloha, all!
I'm so excited to be able to start showing off more of the newest products from Stampin' Up! with the publication today of the 2011-2012 Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog. I've done some sneak peeks of some of the products over the last few weeks. But starting today you can actually page through the catalog yourself! There's a link to the catalog over to the right that will be there for most of the month. Then there's a link over to left and down a bit that will be here the entire year.
Before I go on, just a reminder to those of you who are my students or customers – if I haven't sent or given you a new catalog yet, be sure to e-mail me and let me know I need to get on the stick and get it to you!
Today's card is one that I copied from a recent issue of the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator magazine, Stampin' Success. It's so much simpler than most of what I do, and I'm thinking I could do more like this. Or maybe not. I do like my layering!
New products that are used in this are the Petite Pennants Builder Punch, the Stamp Set, Pennant Parade, and the Designer Series Paper Set, Just Add Cake. The stamp set is on page 69 of the new catalog, and the images that I stamped are both of the pennants, the "wish big" sentiment, and the star in the center of both pennants. Nice set! Imagine the So Saffron stamped image turned 90 degrees counterclockwise (to the left) and you'll see that it's a Christmas Tree! I can hardly wait until I feel like making Holiday cards to use it for that!
Here's the sketch for today's card. I'm also including a smaller version of the card to point out where I used which circle punch.
Now I'm back to planning my first order from the new catalog! I hope you are having that kind of fun, today, too. But don't forget the paper crafting! I always have the most fun with that.
