Aloha, all!
With two cards done and only 10 minutes left before I HAD to leave for the airport, I had no time for layers or punches! It was the papers and stamp left on the craft room table that I had to work with!
Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper was used yet again! This time I had another card lying on the class table in the craft room. I have no idea who sent me the card. It's a mystery card, but it may have been sent from a member of the summer group, VC Rocks (if you know who you are, let me know and I'll add credit here!). This was one of those cards that fascinated me because it was just strips of paper and a stamp and it was quite striking!
While I didn't have the measurements, I "eyeballed" them (no time for a ruler!) and used a piece of transparent tape on the back to hold them all together while I snipped the notches in the ends of each strip. Then I did measure the whole group across and found I had to trim a bit from each side to make it a perfect 4-1/4" to fit a card front.
Finally I applied SNAIL adhesive across the whole back top and bottom (just above the shortest notched strip) and the side and put it on the front of a card base made of Very Vanilla Card Stock. I didn't have time for using my Stamp-a-ma-jig, and I'm glad this was one of those wood mount stamps that I mounted really straight!
No ribbon – no time!
But I was done!!! The best part?! My husband said he thought we could spare a few minutes, so I got to photograph the cards at home instead of on the road!!! Woo-hoo!
No – the best part is that I had some fun cards to send home to said husband – whom I miss a whole lot!
