The new Stampin’ Up! Holiday Mini Catalog is one of the best!! I have been playing with so many stamps and supplies from it that I have a display table just covered with samples. Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be sharing some of those samples here with you.
So far my favorite item from the catalog is the set of Little Felt Flurries. Now that surprises me because I’m really a paper person. But I was curious enough about them to include them in my preview order. Even when my friendly FedEx guy delivered them, I just kind of looked at them wondering what I would do with them. Well, thanks to some ideas from fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators, I started sticking them on the front of cards! Then I added dazzling diamonds. And then I made another card. And another. And… Well you get the picture. LOTS of Little Felt Flurries samples on that crowded display table!
The sample here uses two sizes of the white snowflakes from Little Felt Flurries, one of the delicious papers from the Ski Slope Designer Series Paper set, and a stamp from Heard from the Heart (from the Fall/Winter Catalog). (If you’re ordering online, the stock numbers for these items, in order, are: 113697, 112994, and 111644.) The accent color is Not Quite Navy, and I used Whisper White card stock to set off the stamped saying..
