Aloha, all!
The 5 months beginning in January every year are always interesting when I'm trying to figure out what I can use to show off here on my blog as well as in my Newsletter and Facebook. Why? Because Stampin' Up! has decided (yay!) to keep some of the fun products from its Holiday Catalog – but that list gets shoved aside by the upcoming Occasions and Sale-a-Bration Catalogs, as well as the ongoing 2017-2018 Annual Catalog. But this year I have a plan!
The icon over at the top of the right column is going to stay right where it is. That way both you and I will remember that there are products out there in Stampin' Up! land that aren't in any current catalog BUT are available for purchase.
Let me share one fun non-autumn card I made with the decidedly Fall-themed, Painted Harvest Stamp Set.
If you bump around Pinterest at all, you'll know that this is not my original design. Dozens of people have already figured out that the Sunflower stamps in the Painted Harvest Stamp Set make a great Christmas Wreath. Using those little dots that are supposed to help make up the center of the Sunflower as Berries in the wreath was the best idea. I'm happily CASEing this from all those before me for my Stamp-a-Stack Christmas Card class next week. This card goes SOOOO fast!
Now I can harly wait to see what all those creative people out there think of to do with this set for Spring holidays and celebrations.
Besides that stamp set, here are my favorites that are going to continue to be available into the New Year. This is not everything on the list – just click on the icon up at the top of the right column to see the full list. These are just my favorites:
- Half Full Stamp Set
- Everyday Label Punch
- Cat Punch
- 1/8" Solid Red Ribbon (think Valentine's Day Cards and gifts!)
- Clear Acetate Boxes (for card gifts all year)
Now back to Christmas Cards! I'll have a couple of those next week, including a new project that's a modification of a popular fun fold!
See you next week!
