Aloha, all!
Once I started working with the new Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper (FREE during Stampin’ Up!’s annual Sale-a-Bration promotion with just a $50 purchase of Stampin’ Up! products!!!) I had a hard time putting it away. In fact, even though I have to turn the office work table over to my husband tomorrow so he can get ready for the bridge games he manages, there are still a few pieces out there. Hope springs eternal that I can get yet one more project in before the table is no longer mine for a day or two!
For these three cards, I did something I rarely do – I made dark Cardstock the card base. This meant that I had to make an inside layer on which to write notes. So of course, I stamped that layer, and you can see the stamped layers peeking out a bit in the photos. I used the coordinating Painted Seasons Stamp Set. While the paper is available as a FREE Sale-a-Bration item with a $50 purchase, the stamp set is part of a bundle that’s available, also FOR FREE, but with a $100 purchase from Stampin’ Up!
For the cards in this suite, I used the same sheet of paper, and mixed and matched some of the fun 1/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon, in the Call Me Clover and Grapefruit Grove colors. I added a string of the Leaf Ribbon, which is also the Call Me Clover color, and in the card on the left, I feature the Whisper White 5/8″ Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon, with a snip of the Call Me Clover ribbon slipped through the knot of the Tulle. Then for the card on the right, I just used a piece of both of the 1/8″ Ribbons.
There are close up photos of all three cards here. I also included a list of the products I used for each one, both in this link as well as in the linked page for Monday’s post. I hope you’ll check them out!
Have a great week stamping!
