Aloha, all!
I put off until the last minute making the card we'll be sending to a friend whose wife passed away this past year. It certainly would be easier not to send Christmas wishes, and just write a note after the holidays. But my husband and I decided that, just because our friend is now by himself, there is no reason to "forget" to send a Christmas card. The good news is that he has children and grandchildren who will be a comfort to him this holiday season.
I decided from the start that Midnight Muse would be the color I'd feature for this card. Then I started looking through all my greetings and finally decided that this greeting from Snow Swirled would be a good one for this card. After that it was easy to decide to use the snowflakes from the same stamp set and stamp them onto the Midnight Muse Card Stock with the Illuminate Glimmer Ink that's featured in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog.
Other than that, this card is a subdued – but definitely hand-made with love – Christmas Card.
My favourite stamp set – have made loads of cards with it. Beautiful card Robin!
Gorgeous card & I am sure that your friend will love your thinking of him!
