I just had to try some more embossing on Stampin' Up!'s Foil Sheets! This time I made a card in response to a challenge to post a card using any kind of Stampin' Up! Silver. So out came my Silver collection!
The first thing was the Foil Sheet. For this project I used the same stamp from the Ornament Keepsakes Stamp Set and the same die from the Holiday Ornaments Framelits set as I used in my last blog post. But this time I used a Silver Foil Sheet and Pool Party Stampin' Emboss Powder. The greeting for this card came from the More Merry Messages Stamp Set, and I used Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder to emboss it on some Pool Party Cardstock.
After I got the stamping all done, I layered the card up, starting at the bottom with a Pool Carty Cut and Ready Card Base. (Click on the Cut and Ready Card Bases link up on the right for more information!) Then I added a layer of Silver Foil, then one of the Silver Sheets from the Winter Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper, another Silver Foil Layer, and finally the stamped layer.
The last step was to adhere the ornament to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. Oh, and I just had to have some ribbon to tie this project together and what better ribbon to use than the Silver 1/8" Ribbon.
What fun I had with this project! I really like using the Foil Sheets, so you may be seeing some more here at Robin's Craft Room before long!
