Aloha, all!
I’m finally getting to the point where I’m going to start setting aside all my Stampin’ Up! products that will be retiring at the end of May 2018. I have all my retiring stamp sets, punches, card stock and stamp pads marked with a little red dot. But I’m not putting them away in boxes for resale quite yet as I still have another 5 weeks that I’ll be using them and encouraging you to buy them if you’ve been thinking about it. Because things are already starting to become sold out, and the list will get longer the closer May 31st gets!
Today I’m sharing a card that I made with one of my favorite retiring colors (Soft Sky) and retiring stamp sets (Garden in Bloom). I can tell how much I’ve loved this stamp set because of how used it looks. WELL used is how it will be worded when it goes on eBay at the end of the summer! As for Soft Sky, I had to reink my stamp pad before I finished this card, so you know I’ve used a lot of that color!
The Designer Series Paper is from the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper set. That’s a set I haven’t used much. But now that it’s out on my work table (what, me put something away??) I’ll probably use it again before too long. There’s another favorite retiring color in there (Emerald Envy) and I may have to showcase that later this week!
The Garden in Bloom Stamp Set is SOOOO versatile! One of my favorite cards from a fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator (Jen Timko) just had three butterflies across the card and it was just perfect. It is still on the display shelf in my craft room (and will likely stay there retired set or not).
My favorite feature of the White Organza Ribbon is that it looks so nice paired up with another color ribbon, especially when there are other Whisper White accents on the card. There will be another ribbon featured in the next Stampin’ Up! catalog. But it will be 5/8″ rather than the slim 1/4″ of the current ribbon. Maybe it will cut well?
The oval framelits that I used for the central stamped element are all going to stick around into the new catalog. That’s a relief as I really love layering both of these sets up! At the end of this post I’ll include information about all the products that I’ve used in this project. So far none of the retiring products have sold out. But don’t wait too long to check them out in my Stampin’ Up! store and buy them if you’d like.
Happy Stamping!

Love this card Robin!! I also love Garden of Love and will miss both the stamp set and Soft Sky! Is it okay if I case this for my card class tomorrow night?! I know my ladies will adore this card as well! I will give credit to you of course!!
