Aloha, all!
Here I am again, and just one day after my last blog post! It felt so good to get my hands on my new Stampin’ Up! Catalog and go through it to see all the wonderful new stamp sets and embellishments. I just had to do it again before I get wrapped up in more lava evacuation issues.
For today’s post, I went through all the fab cards that sister Stampin’ Up! demonstrators have sent me and decided to choose a bunch of them that feature the fun new Garden Impressions Suite. The name of each demonstrator who sent each card is printed on it. In a couple of cases, the person who sent a card sent it as part of a collection of cards she received in a swap as the new Stampin’ Up@ 2018-2019 Catalog was being published.
These two cards both feature the 3-step stamping Rose impression image. But each uses only 2 of the stamps in the set. Both use the background image, but each uses a a different accent stamp. The sentiment is one of five beautiful sayings in this stamp set.
This card by Patty Bennett uses all 3 of the Rose impressions stamps. Patty also uses the Detailed Floral Thinlits to make a perfect background layer using the Garden Impressions 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper set. The beautiful Berry Burst Metallic Edge Ribbon is a perfect embellishment over the stamped sentiment, one from Patty’s own Million Dollar Sales stamp set, Ribbon of Courage.
These two cards use yet another product in the Garden Impressions Suite, the Springtime Impressions Thinlits Die set. Susan LaCroix uses the card front-sized floral die, while Dawn Dickinson uses the beautiful new butterfly die from the set.
The final card for today is one with a fun cut-out card front. To make this kind of an opening, score around the square or rectangle you’d like to be the frame size; slice an ‘x’ into the inside of the frame (from upper left to lower right corner and from upper right to lower left corner); finally tear off the remaining triangular flaps about half an inch from each scored edge. Fold back, adhere the stamped image inside the card, and you’re done!

Here are all the products that my friends used in these cards. While I’m not yet at the point of being able to do much crafting myself, my Stampin’ Up! store is still open and ready for business! Just click on any of the pictures below to be taken to my store to find out more about the products and order them if you wish. One item of particular interest today is the Abstract Impressions Photopolymer Bundle. By purchasing the bundle, you get the Stamp Set and the Springtime Impressions Thinlits both at 10% off their original price!
