Aloha, all!
From the very beginning of my Stampin' Up! career, I have LOVED 2-Step Stamping! It's so much fun to take two (or more) different stamps and stamp one upon the other, using different colors, creating an image with beautiful color dimension to it! So you might imagine how much fun I'm having with the Stampin' Up! Stamp Set, Wondrous Wreath!
The wreath in this image has three different stamps: the first stamp has lots of leaves and I stamped it here using Pear Pizzazz ink. The second stamp, stamped right over the first, is Garden Green, and the final stamp is all those lovely Cherry Cobbler "berries." What makes this set even easier to use is a tab that is at the top of each of the Photopolymer stamps in this image. I just made sure the tab was pointed up in the same direction for all three stamps and matching everything up was so easy. It's even easier because I can see right through these beautifully clear stamps.
To complete the card – which uses one of the layouts from my 2010 eBook – I embossed a greeting from the Endless Wishes Stamp Set, using gold Stampin' Emboss Powder. It really looks a bit fuller in person, but that embossing shine was really hard to photograph well.
Oh, and the foil! I cut the bow for the wreath using a fair from the Wonderful Wreath Framelits Set. What a fun die to have – for so many uses! Oh, and there's a 15% off bundle that includes both the framelits dies AND the stamp set (click on the link below to find out more).
I tied the card all together with some ribbon – from a brand new roll of Gold 1/8" Ribbon. Fun!
Here are some of the products I've featured in this project. Just click on a picture to find out more about any one of them – and even buy what you'd like from my Stampin' Up! Store. I hope you are having as much fun with your Christmas projects as I am!
