Aloha, all!
I'm back from a month-long vacation and am SOOO ready to be back to my paper crafting activities. In fact, I started over the weekend, and I have at least a week's worth of projects featuring retiring Stampin' Up! products ready for you. Before I share my first project, though, here's some up-to-date information about the list of retiring products.
- Over to the right is an icon that links to a list of Retiring Products (English language only), with those that have already sold out shown in lined-out red print. This list is current as of the date shown below the icon. But things change fast this last month of the Stampin' Up! year – so read on!
- Stampin' Up! updates its list in real time, though, so the real clue to what's still available is in the store on my Stampin' Up! Website. Click the icon for The Sun Is Setting to go directly to my Stampin' Up! store to see what's still around – and to order, of course.
It's hard for me to say which of the retiring stamp sets and other products are my favorites or are products that I'm really going to miss. Of course, if I'm really, really, really going to miss them for my own needs, then they may find their way into my personal stash. But I want to be able to demonstrate current products most of the time, so I'll not be using most of these in my blog posts after May 31st.
So let's get started with a week or two of new products and reprises of some of my favorites, such as the Affectionately Yours Specialty DSP.
I especially like the Copper Accents in this sheet, which is one of 7 different sheets in the set, two of which have the Copper Accents. The Copper Foil that I used at mats for both layers in this card will continue into the upcoming 2017-2018 Annual Catalog. But the paper won't. So buy it while you can!
Two of the colors that are featured both in the Designer Series Paper and in the colors that I used in the stamped layer are also retiring as they have had their two years in the limelight as Stampin' Up! In Colors – Watermelon Wonder and Mint Macaron. As of the time that I am writing this the Stampin' Write Markers that feature these colors are still available – at 20% off! – as are the Classic Stampin' Pads for both colors. All of the ink refills are sold out, though.
Oh, and this fun stamp set is going to retire! The stamped layer includes two of the stamps from the Mixed Borders Stamp Set. These stamps make such as elegant border, that you can make as delailed or plain as you'd like. I'm so disappointed that it only stayed around for one year. It's a favorite, but I'll be retiring it from my collection come May 31st. You may see it again here during this coming month, though!
For the final touch, I added some Daffodil Delight and Night of Navy Enamel Shapes. Those, thank heavens!, are NOT retiring. So glad I stocked up on them when they were on sale last fall.
