Aloha, all!
From now until Christmas, I will be posting Christmas projects exclusively – and I'll be posting every day! It's a special Countdown to Christmas program at Robin's Craft Room!
And the projects won't just be plain folded cards. I'll have lots of fancy folds and fun gifts to share with you, and tutorials to go with them. I hope you'll come back every day and will find some projects that you'll really enjoy making yourself.
Today's card – and all of the Wednesday Cards for the month, will be cards inspired by the challenges at the Diva's Coffee Break Design Team blog. Today's challenge is a sketch provided by the Divas. I've included my own copy of the sketch at the end giving you the measurements that I used when I made my card.
The stamp set for this project is the Level 2 Hostess Set Peaceful Season in Stampin' Up!'s 2010 Holiday Mini Catalog. What a great combination of stamps there are in this set – anything you could possibly need to make a card with Peace as its theme. My favorite stamp is the picture of Earth as a Christmas Ornament. What a fantastic idea! I used Baja Breeze and Soft Suede for the colors in this card, accented throughout by Whisper White. Nice colors for this theme!
And, of course, the sketch is one that can be used with lots and lots of stamp sets – and not just Christmas Cards, either! Please do make a card and post it to the Divas blog. We'd all love to see your creativity!
