Aloha, all!
No, I’m not back from my trip. But it’s just a few more days before I land back in Hilo, Hawai’i, to join my husband who returned last week. Then I’ll really start in on my Easter cards!
But today I have a card that I put together at the last minute before I had to pack and leave town last month. I say, “put together,” because I did not design this card. One of my favorite sister Stampin’ Up! demonstrators originally made this card and shared it on a Facebook post I was reading after having cleaned up my work space before leaving. I just could not let this card get away from me, so I quickly grabbed the few things I needed to make the card and, bam, it was done!
I am so in love with the Gingham Gala 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper that’s in the Stampin’ Up! 2019 Occasions Catalog. The colors are just perfect for Spring, and I’ll be using them a lot in my Easter Cards this year. For one thing, once the Occasions Catalog ends on June 3rd of this year, it’s unlikely that these papers will continue into the next Annual Catalog. It’s only rarely that papers carry over to another catalog.
The Fable Friends Stamp Set is also perfect for Spring. If you don’t celebrate Easter, the images are still perfect for Spring, AND there’s a Happy Spring sentiment in the set, too! This cute Beatrix Potter style duck also has some little ducklings to go along with it. Imagine those for a New Baby or even a Mother’s Day card. Just right for April.
As you know by now, the 2019 Sale-a-bration promotion is over – it was over on March 31st. But i still have some of that luscious ribbon that perfectly matched the colors in the Gingham Gala paper set. I’m glad that I still have a little bit of each color as that will help me tie up all of my gingham Easter cards in fun-colored ribbon.
I’ll be back here with something new before too very long. You have to know I’d rather go right to my craft room than unpack luggage! On the other hand, it’s possible – just possible – that I did a little shopping in that week after my husband left to come home. I may have even found some fun stuff to supplement my current crafting supplies. One can only hope!
Happy Stamping! And don’t be shy about clicking on any of the links below to learn more about the products that I used in today’s project. I’d love it if you bought some of them to make your own fun Easter or Spring cards!

Such a cheerful card! I just love the Gingham paper!
