Aloha, all!
I have been remiss in not telling you about this year’s Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-Bration event. I’ve just been so glad to be back crafting and sharing with you that I just had to stamp, stamp, stamp, and the promotion side of my life just had to wait. But today, after making three oh-so-fun projects with a Sale-a-Bration FREE STAMP SET, I just had to tell you how you can get this stamp set for free, too.
The stamp set is Lovely Lattice. And I’ve just touched the surface of what I can do with this stamp set in the three projects I’ve already completed.
To get started using the main stamp in the set, I looked at how one of the projects in the Sale-a-Bration Brochure was done. The artists there had colored the flowers with Stampin’ Blends, with the inside of the flowers lighter than the outside. So I chose Balmy Blue, Mango Melody and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends to try to CASE the coloring in the brochure picture.
I did something a bit different in that I colored the “lattice” background using the Light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend, and added a layer of the Daffodil Delight color of the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper (from the new Occasions Catalog) and then went back to the Sale-a-Bration Brochure for the coordinating ribbon from the Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack. The sentiment is from the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set, also in the Occasions Catalog.
For the second project, I simply changed the flower colors to the Highland Heather Stampin’ Blend, using the Highland Heather sheet from the Gingham Gala paper set. The sentiment for this card is from the Perennial Birthday Stamp Set from the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. For both of these projects, I used the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits. Yay! I knew Stampin’ Up! would get framelits some day and here they are!!!
Finally, I broke out of the monocolor flower arrangements, and used a bunch of different colors of Stampin’ Blends for this project – Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue and Flirty Flamingo, along with Old Olive for the leaves. I CASEd the layout from a card made by fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, Cindy Elam. I have to say that, with the colors and the layout, this is my favorite of the bunch! I added Balmy Blue Ribbon from the Sale-a-Bration combo pack and the same sentiment as in the second card.
And this is the deal with Sale-a-Bration. For every $50 of Stampin’ Up! projects you purchase, you get to choose one of eleven brand new Stampin’ Up! products FOR FREE! For example, if you bought all of the Stampin’ Blends that I’ve mentioned (which can be used for lots of cards!), the two stamp sets I used for the sentiment (which also have lots more in the way of stamps!), the Framelits, and the Gingham Paper, you could get the main stamp set I used – Lovely Latice – and the Ribbon Combo Pack PLUS another product from the Sale-a-Bration Brochure FOR FREE! You’ll be able to makes tons of cards from now until the end of Spring!
That’s not all you can do during Sale-a-Bration. If you’d like me to send you a brochure, just send me an e-mail and I’ll get one right off to you. Or you can see the products on line by clicking here!
I hope you have as much fun stamping over the next week or so as I had in just one day this past weekend with this projects!

So glad to see you back! Beautiful cards! Missed you! Theresa
