Aloha, all!
Today was a rare day that I had all to myself to do what I wanted in my Craft Room. It wasn’t all stamping and card-making. I had some projects to do for a group to which I belong, and those demanded some creativity. So I was on a roll when I turned my attention to my new Stampin’ Up! goodies that I got as a preview of what will be in the next annual catalog.
There are two brand new goodies in this card, along with one product that’s returning after a short absence, and several that are current now and will carry over to the new catalog. There’s only one retiring product, and it should be around for at least another month or so.
First the retiring Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set. The “hello” is part of one of the stamps in that set. Believe it or not, this stamp set was one that I bought as part of my very first order as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. It’s one of three current stamp sets in my collection that are red rubber stamps mounted on wood blocks. All 3 of them will retire next month, and I’ll be left with no wood mount stamp sets at all. This is definitely how I like it as there is limited space in my craft room for stamp sets, and I LOVE stamp sets. So the more I can fit in my stamp book case, the happier I am.
The returning product is that lovely Mint Macaron Cardstock which was a favorite when it first retired several years back. And, no, I did not keep it and its coordinating ink products for the same reason that I have no wood mount stamps – space! But I’ll be restocking my shelves as soon as I can with all that’s new in Mint Macaron!
Now the new goodies, all of which are part of the Share What You Love Suite in the 2018-2019 Stampin’ Up! Catalog that will be released in June. BUT – products from the suite will also be available to all Stampin’ Up! customers at the beginning of May to introduce you to some of the new products early. I’ll tell you more about that when I hear something! These products are the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper, one sheet of which is in the background of this card; and the Lovely Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder part of which is featured on the top layer of this card. You can see a peek of the Love What You Do Stamp Set on the inside of the card. I’ll be doing more with this stamp set over the next couple of weeks to whet your appetite for buying the bundles that will be available to you in May.
The layout of this card is not my own design. It’s actually a layout featured in the current Fab Friday Challenge. You can see what others have done with this fun challenge over at their blog site. Anyone can join in the challenge, so don’t be bashful if you’d like to try out their sketch!
Here are the currently available products that I used to make this card. Clicking on any of the icons will whisk you away to my personal Stampin’ Up! store where you can find out more about any of them, and order them right then and there, 24/7!
Happy Stamping!

Robin – lovely showing of this suite – love seeing that DEF front and center on your card! Great mix of old and new, too. Thanks so much for playing at Fab Friday!
