Aloha, all!
Here again is a project made with the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack, but with a color combo that's different from that which I used on Monday. Today's project features Basic Gray, along with the Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey colors of Monday's project.
The first piece of paper I picked out was the one with the honeycomb design (Hello Honey is a fun name for the color for this design!). Then my thoughts immediately turned to the Hexagon Hive Thinlit. I cut a piece of Blackberry Bliss Cardstock with the whole thinlit, then started moving it around on the honeycomb print paper until I decided I liked just a strip over on the right.
Once I got that put together, I started looking for a second piece of paper. I went right past the sheet with the triangle print – then immediately flipped back to it. Hey, it's geometrical, too, isn't it? Once I laid it over the first layer, I thought it was perfect. It didn't take me long to find the Six-Sided Sampler Stamp Set and it was just one step further to the Hexagon Punch. I stamped the outline and sentiment on Whisper White Cardstock and hand cut it out just outside the outline. Then I punched a scrap of Hello Honey Cardstock with the Hexagon Punch, layered them up and attached it all to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Is this not a fun geometrical card?! I love the way that the Basic Gray Neutral Cardstock accents all of it, too. Fun, and another simple layout. Hmmm. I may have to add this one to my upcoming eBook!
