Handmade Gifts are “IN” This Year!
When I add up all the people for whom I’d LIKE to buy a Christmas, the numbers just don’t, well, add up. Many years I make gifts for friends and family, and this year will be one of those years for sure! As you have seen with my posts earlier this week, I already have the designs for some stationery sets, and I’ll be making several different sets, with different colors of inks, card stock and Designer Series papers. Here’s another close up of one of the cards in Wednesday’s stationery set. The stamp set is Upsy Daisy (111710) and I again used Green Tea Designer Series Paper and Baja Breeze, Whisper White and Night of Navy cardstock.
I also used a Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Marker to accent the flower stamp before I stamped it on the Whisper White card stock.
And the numbers DO add up! For just over $150, you can make at least 20 stationery sets (samples in previous posts this week) and still have left all the stamp sets that you buy, and much of the paper, ribbons, ink, and adhesive for even more paper crafting. The "even more" can be your own greeting cards, or other kinds of paper-crafted gifts.
At the end of this post is a sample shopping list I’ve made up for you. Add a FREE Level 1 Hostess gift stamp set (I would choose Best Yet) and a stamp set with a Holiday Theme for around $15 (suggestions below), and you’re set for lots of fun and lots of gifts. The best part will be the smiles on the faces of those who receive your wonderful handmade gifts. (Note that this cost assumes that you already have some basic paper crafting supplies, such as a paper cutter, heat embossing tool, and scissors. If you need any of that, let me know and I’ll send you a supply list for such basics.)
For a holiday set with which to spend your $15 for FREE merchandise, I suggest Merry & Bright (110376) @ $14.95, Holiday Trinkets (111650) @ $15.95 (you’d have to add the additional $.95 to your total), or Sleigh Bells Ring (109483) @$15.95. That set would be lovely with all the Whisper White, Night of Navy and Baja Breeze accents!
You can shop online, or just call me (808.854.6145) or e-mail me if you’d like me to put this order in for you. I can have it shipped directly to you anywhere in the United States.

Cards by Robin – A Gift for You!
Yesterday I showed you samples of a set of cards that I made for a friend to give as gifts. I made four Note Cards, and included those and the envelopes in this coordinating folder. Again, I used the Green Tea Designer Series Paper (112040) on the folder made with Baja Breeze card stock (111352). The luscious Double-sided Satin Ribbon (111879) is just the perfect embellishment to show off the papers.
The stamp is from the Level 1 Hostess Set, Best Yet, and is stamped in Baja Breeze (111833). This brings me to my special offer for you!
I will send you a set of instructions for this folder and the four note cards FREE when you place an online order of $50 or more between now and November 15th.
When you place an online order of $150 (which qualifies you to receive the Best Yet stamp set for FREE plus order $15 more in products for FREE), not only will I send you the instructions, I will send you the materials to make one of the stationery sets. This is a $30 value!
To start your order, you can purchase the papers, ribbons and ink to make many of these stationery sets for gifts for only $80! And they’re so versatile! Check in tomorrow to see another example of a great card using the Pocket Silhouettes (111672) stamp set. Later in the week, I’ll include a list of the products you can order to get yourself started on making this year’s Christmas Gifts! If you can’t wait until then, just call me (808.854-6145) or send an e-mail, and I’ll get the list right out to you!
Cards by Robin!
As part of my Stampin’ Up! business, I make stationery sets for all occasions, using Stampin’ Up! products (they are the best, after all!). This week I’m working on invitations for a reception that will take place next month, and I just completed several sets of cards for a dear friend to give as gifts to people who are helping her during a current illness.
These cards are made using Note Cards, which are smaller than the traditional 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" card, but still large enough that they can be mailed through the US postal system. These Whisper White cards come 20 to a pack, and include envelopes. If you’d like to order online, the item number is 107311.
The stamp set for the card on the left is called Upsy Daisy ( 111710) and features the floral design and three greeting stamps. The stamp set for the card on the right is Pocket Silhouettes (111672) and features four floral designs and two greeting stamps. I used Green Tea Designer Series Paper (112040) for the backgrounds, with Baja Breeze ink and Night of Navy as an accent color.
I packaged four cards with four different designs, two from each stamp set, in a folder, which I’ll share with you tomorrow.
Read tomorrow’s post to find out how to get a set of instructions for this gift set! And meanwhile, if you would like to talk with me about making cards for YOUR special occasion or gift, just call (808.854.6145) or e-mail me and I’ll get right on it!
