Thanks Again!

Aloha, all!

I'm making slow but steady progress in getting better – and I can't tell you how much it does my heart good to make Thank You notes!  I'm especially enjoying it this week as I get to participate in the Create With Connie and Mary weekly challenge because it's happening right in the middle of Preview Week for the Spring Edition of CCM!  And, if you didn't know it already, every day one of our Design Team is offering Blog Candy – including today!

And, since this is after all the preview to the Spring Edition of Create with Connie and Mary, I included three of my favorite new products from the Stampin' Up! 2013 Spring Catalog.

The first product is the Designer Series Paper that is the main background.  It comes from the Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Stack.  Many of you may have gone right for those luscious reds and greens in this paper stack – but I went right for the Midnight Muse sheets!  BUT – if you go looking for this exact sheet, you may not find it because the flowers that are part of the background are stamped by me, not by a machine somewhere!  I used the outline style stamps from the brand new Secret Garden Stamp Set and stamped it with the Illuminate Glimmer Watermark Stampin' Pad.  I'm so glad that this watermark pad carried over from the 2012 Holiday Catalog, especially when I get to use it with Midnight Muse!

The final product from the Spring Catalog that I used for this card is the 1-1/4" Two-Tone Ribbon; this one is the Pink Pirouette/Rose Red two-tone.  I love how sturdy this ribbon is and how easy it is to tie into a bow!

The "Thanks" stamp comes from another product carried over from the 2012 Holiday Catalog – Seasonal Sayings.  This was originally designed as a Thanksgiving-themed stamp, but I removed the second part of the greeting to leave just the "Thanks."  Then I stamped one of the stamps from the Petite Pairs stamp set, along with one of the Secret Garden Stamps that I'd used on the front of the card to complete the "Thanks" thought on the inside.

Now it's time for you to go over to Create With Connie and Mary and see who's offering blog candy!  There are even a few FREE tutorials this week, so be sure to check back there every day!

Very nice background layer! So glad you are feeling better. My hubby has been sick too and it took about 3 weeks for him to get better!
