Sweet Treats for my Stamp Club!
Aloha, all!
For my February Stamp Club meeting, I decided that my ladies needed a Valentine project and treat that they didn’t have to make themselves. Here’s what I made for them using Hershey’s miniatures and, of course, Stampin’ Up! paper products and stamps!!
I’m back to spending more time with my Sizzix machine, too, and will have a new project to show off tomorrow as well. For this project, I used the Top Note die, folded over to make a topper for the bag of Hershey’s candy. I used the Candy Lane Designer Series Paper to cover the miniatures. To do this, you just need a piece of paper 1" x 3". Just use a little adhesive on one of the short ends, wrap the long side around the candy, and press the ends together at the back. So simple, but so elegant! Finally, I decorated the top note with hearts punched with the Heart to Heart Punch and an image stamped from the Love You Much stamp set, and punched with the Scallop Circle Punch.
Oh, and here’s the table set up for the group to do its first project of the night (the Note Pad cover I showed off in the February 4th post).
If you live in East Hawaii and would like to be a part of a stamp club, just call and we can talk story! As always, I’m at 808.854.6145.
