There are Stamps…And There are Stamps!

Ever since I first saw the new 44 cent Love Stamps, I have been eager to try them out with the Stampin’ Up! stamp set, Card Games.
THEN, when I saw the new In Colors for 2009-2010, I really couldn’t wait to see what I could do with them. This is my first try at making them work together. While I may try some more to get a better design, at least this got the whole idea out of my system–for now…
The In Colors that I used you’ll be seeing in the new catalog starting July 1st. The orange color is Dusty Durango, and the yellow color is Crushed Curry. The ribbon is a new Polka Dot 1/2" grosgrain ribbon that will be available in all 6 of the new In Colors–no other colors, sorry! But there will be a 3/4" Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon in Real Red. Ooooh, start thinking Christmas!! And then there’s Valentine’s Day.
But I digress. The background color for all of this is Whisper White, and the saying is from the stamp set, "Simply Said," which is one of my favorite sets that will be continued in the 2009-2010 Idea Book and Catalog.
So herewith another Sneak Peek at the new catalog!!!
For those of you in East Hawaii who would like to SEE the new catalog, I’m having a "play date" in Robin’s Craft Room (newly decluttered and cleaned, I might add!) on Saturday, June 20th. So bring your stamp sets and other Stampin’ Up! toys and come play with some of the new In Colors! I’ll have them all ready for you to use in your own projects for the day.
